Palazzo Farnese, Sala di Ercole (Caprarola)

The Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola (Vt) as well ‘as we see today is the result of many interventions and changes that have occurred over time since the beginning of 1500, the period of its design, which was attended by great masters such as Sangallo and Vignola. The monumental building, which overlooks the valley, was commissioned by the powerful Roman family of the Farnese and consists mainly in the basement, the floor with the beautiful interior courtyard that is accessed after crossing the magnificent frescoed rooms of the Guards and of the season, the main floor with amazing room of the globe, whose pearl is the roof which is the Zodiac.
Other attractions are the beautiful and wonderful manicured gardens with fountains and waterfalls.
