Sara Dominici

Roman-born pianist, Sara Dominici, studied music at the prestigious Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, where she graduated with highest honours in piano and in chamber music, in addition to completing a Master’s degree in piano, presenting a recital dedicated to pianistic virtuosism. Awarded best student at Santa Cecilia in 2000, Sara has gone on to win numerous piano and chamber music competitions, including the ‘Lazar Berman’ Award for her execution of Rachmaninoff’s Etudes-Tableaux. She perfected her studies in Italy with F. Di Cesare, M. Campanella, A. Jacobson, C. Ortiz and the Trio di Trieste; in Brussels with Mogilevski and Roumchevich; in Luxembourg with D. Protopopescu, G. Mallach and T. Duis and in Geneva with K. Jablonsky. She performs extensively as a soloist but also as a chamber musician and in piano duo. She has performed in Italy, Spain, Greece, Luxembourg and in Serbia (Forty Fingers Project), as well as featuring on radio broadcasts both in Italy and abroad. She currently teaches at the Ludus Tonalis Accademy in Riano (Rome), where she is also artistic director.
